Breakfast that Exceeds Expectations

The Splendor Inn was a delightful retreat. The warm hospitality from Chris and the charming Kaz set a welcoming tone. Breakfast was homemade and truly exceptional, with fresh fruit and rich coffee. My room, Sequoia, provided serene tree-filled views that felt like a lovely escape.

The beautifully decorated interior and relaxing atmosphere made our stay memorable. Breakfast was genuinely delicious, especially the homemade blueberry French toast, which fueled our busy day ahead.

We encountered some issues during our visit that dampened the experience. Our mattress felt excessively firm and made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the A/C unit in our room struggled to keep up with the warm weather, leaving us feeling uncomfortable. Overall, these aspects made our time less enjoyable than we had hoped.

Staying at Splendor Inn felt like a true home away from home. Chris and Ann's warm hospitality welcomed us from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and decorated with a lovely personal touch, showcasing the charm of the inn. Fresh fruits and a coffee bar were available, creating a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring homemade blueberry French toast that made waking up worthwhile. Caz, the adorable dog, added to the welcoming vibe. On the downside, our mattress was a bit firm for my liking, which affected my sleep quality. Additionally, there was occasional noise from the street, particularly noticeable in our room.

It was just a fine choice for a brief sojourn in Norwich with fantastic value for money. Chris helped us find places to enjoy dinner and made us feel right at home. If you're into crafts, ask about local groups—it might lead to some fun connections!

The air conditioning worked well, keeping everything nice and cool. Also, the access to fresh fruit and coffee at all times was a nice touch. Just a heads up—there was a bit of street noise at times, but it didn’t ruin the vibe.
